Applications
Applicants for most programs are placed on a waiting list according to the date and time of completed application. The tenant (head of household) or co-tenants must meet eligibity requirements. Eligible applicants properly verified will be placed on a waiting list. Applicants may select to be placed on specific list. Applications can only be accepted for specific lists, if the Waiting List is open. Please check the Waiting Lists section of this site to see the status of waiting lists.

Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8)
The Housing Authority of the County of Butte (Housing Authority) will open its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program Waiting List to qualifying households between April 1 and April 30, 2012.
